- On May 7, 2017, a part of Tabriz Grand Bazaar caught fire. This market is registered as the largest indoor market in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this incident, which did not cause any casualties, the house of Eki Qapilar (two-room house) was significantly damaged. Tabriz Bazaar is not only a place for trade and economic transactions, but also includes a large part of the collective identity of the Azerbaijani people. They rushed to the aid of the victims and prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of this historic place with intelligence and redoubled efforts.
