In 1999, jazz trumpeter Chris Botti was on the cusp of international stardom when he made his third album, "Slowing Down The World" at the Record Plant studio in Los Angeles, CA. The album would usher in a new world for the musician, whom was discovered while part of Paul Simon's horn section (with Michael Brecker) for The Rhythm Of The Saints world tour.

These analogue photographs were made over a period of days, and some very late nights, to document the collaborative process of making a musical recording. There are a number of additional images available, along with additional information about the overall story, upon request.
