The George Floyd protest formed on Broadway street in Oakland, California soon became a nightly opportunity for looters to strike at will as all Bay Area Police could do little to stop it. Then around Oakland's Lake Merrit, the Black community gathered nightly for weeks shooting off fireworks to the dismay of the neighboring community.
