Please join me at the Through Women's Eyes Film Festival and Sarasota Film Festival this year!

I am beyond excited, thankful and honored to announce that my film Families Together/ Familias Unidas "“ a short film about strong and caring Latin American mothers who are part of a 2Gen-program of UnidosNOW, where they learn English and about the education system in the United States "“ will be shown at the Through Women's Eyes Film Festival and Sarasota Film Festival next week. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in producing this film, including two amazing organizations and the wonderful staff of UnidosNOW and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

A special thanks to all the mothers and children who let me into their homes and hearts to produce this short film. A big thank you to Luz Corcuera, John Annis, and Jody McBrien for believing in my work, the mother's stories and helping me make this happen. I look forward to seeing you all at the festivals and if you have any questions please contact me at, karenarango.r@gmail.com, and I will be more than happy to assist you.
