During the pandemic, seniors from the first risk group found themselves in a particularly difficult situation. Due to mobility limitations, fear of infection and restrictions imposed by the authorities, many of them stopped leaving the house and began to live a bit like hostages.

Thanks to my cooperation with Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly, an organization that helps seniors, I was able to reach older people living alone in Warsaw, Poland.

I took the photos with a drone to limit contact with the protagonists and not expose them to the risk of infection.

The first case of a Covid patient in Poland was confirmed on March 4, 2020. Since then, the official figures are almost 1.39 million positive cases and 31,264 deaths.
