We need more Love in this World
Throughout human history, many ancient cultures across the globe worshipped female deities associated with love and fertility. The earliest record we have today is from the ancient Mesopotamia, that tells the story of their goddess Ninhursag, considered being the mother of all gods. Also known as “Queen of Heaven, and Lady of the sacred mountain," among others. As centuries went by, she went by the name Ishtar in the Akkadian culture, or Sumerian counterpart, Inanna. Egyptians worshipped Isis, also known as Aset or Eset. Phoenicians had Astarte, not to mention very popular Oshun in Africa, or other equivalents all over the world. Some of these goddesses from antiquity, like Greek Aphrodite and Roman Venus, are still alive and well, occupying the hearts and minds of many people today.
