Dikshit Sharma

Dikshit Sharma has a knack for photography and visual storytelling with a critical eye for creative details. His familiarity with design methods accentuated by the rigours of his formal training in design at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has served to lend a distinctive perspectival outlook to his creative ventures. Similarly, his exploratory encounters with the ethics of documentary photography through the Masterclass workshops under the stewardship of such stalwarts like Stuart Franklin of Magnum and Pep Bonet of NOOR  have helped him excel in his artistic pursuits vis-à-vis design and photography. He is credited with the exhibition of his photobook Jonbeel in the Indian Photo Festival 2019. His passion for travelling, especially solo, corroborated by an unqualified love for the wild and untrodden territories lends a charm of novelty to his visual representations. Travelling, meeting new people and living independently has taught him how to adapt to new situations, live on a budget, appreciate different cultures and has left him to think clearly and reason logically. With his penchant for knowing the unknown and exploring possibilities of creating symbiotic human relationships, his motto in life is to drink life to the lees.
