I find inspiration by walking through various neighborhoods, engaging with the folks I meet, and searching for connections between the different segments of our society. I am committed to authentically conveying the unique stories of my subjects, fascinated by highly detailed environments, and curious about the passionate people who share my city.

In late 2019, I embarked on a personal photography assignment focused on the small businesses of Highland Park in Northeast Los Angeles. The enchanting blend of old and new shops intrigued me, and I made it my mission to document every store that allowed me in. However, the pandemic brought a drastic shift, up-ending this vibrant neighborhood. Witnessing the ongoing and heartbreaking collapse of people's livelihoods and dreams compels me to create images that honor and preserve our collective experience amid the ever-changing urban landscape.

For my "Art Happens Anywhere" exhibit in 2020, I explored the streets of Glendale, CA, crafting life-sized digital panoramas of the diverse community of shop owners I encountered. By combining hundreds of high-resolution images into one final photograph, I could capture both my subjects and their environments with remarkable detail.

2021 saw the beginning of my five-year project delving into America's journey down Route 66. Utilizing the powerful combination of billboard-sized photos and one-on-one conversations, I am creating a contemporary visual and oral history with those who live and work alongside the iconic highway. Offering a divergent perspective on Americana, my project invites active participation and reflection, commemorating Route 66's centennial as an enduring reminder of our nation's identity and complicated legacy.

Through my art, I am immersed in a journey of discovery, perpetually amazed by the wonderful people I encounter and the wealth of experiences we share in our multi-ethnic society. With every project I continue to unravel the intricacies, celebrate the differences, and embrace the beautiful similarities that bind us together. I seek to preserve our shared heritage and initiate open discussions which foster unity among Americans from all backgrounds.
