Alex is a freelance photojournalist covering social, political and humanitarian themes. Having spent the past three years living and working in East Africa, he has now moved his base back to London.
Alex shoots regularly as a stringer for Getty Images and AFP. His work has been published by such publications as Al Jazeera, The Atlantic, BBC, ELLE, El Pais, FT, Foreign Policy, The Guardian, Internazionale, Le Monde, TNH, The New York Times, VICE, The Washington Post and others.
Over the course of 2020 his work was exhibited at Helsinki Photo Festival and Photo IS:RAEAL. He was an award winner at the Andrei Stenin International Press Photo contest in Moscow. His work from South Sudan was also screened at the 2020 edition of Visa Pour l’Image, France.
