Grew up in Western Maine, my father was a large format photographer and English teacher. My mother was an English teacher and college guidance advisor.
Since finishing graduate school I have spent time in the classroom, teaching studio art, art history and photography as well as working in the emerging field of digital publishing. Since 1998 I have focused on different aspects of user experience design and content publishing on the World Wide Web. All along, however, I have remained contected to digital imaging and image manipulation. I was an early user of Photoshop and its competitors as well as various iterations of digital cameras.
I am currently transitioning back into a more focused pursuit of digital imaging, interested in both its narrative potential and its more epistomological implications
