Santi Palacios

Ciutat Vella (Old Town in Catalan) is the district that comprises the historic centre of the city of Barcelona.

These are photographs taken during the first State of Alarm declared by the Spanish Government in March 2020 with efforts to stop the advance of the COVID-19 pandemic; when the lockdown imposed by the authorities emptied the city’s streets.
