What is outside is no longer outside. Trees, forests, mountains, rivers, lakes. Michael Nguyen has transformed these elements into feelings, fantasies and dreams in his photo paintings. They become part of our inner nature, part of the human soul.
Through the subjective lens, Michael Nguyen gives everyone a new perspective, a new soul.

His works do not reflect reality, but are the interpretation of a moment. In his art photography, the works are often created by altering the original photo in image editing programmes, whereby there are no limits to the artist's creativity.
My motifs include landscapes, riverbanks and forests. The seasons of autumn and winter are my favourite moods. My pictures are characterised by blurred, hazy contours, sometimes scattered light and often the omission of details, similar to a painting."
Ten of the motifs are on permanent display at Gauting Town Hall.
