Edna Reves photographed at home in Dingolfing, Bavaria, Germany. From the Daily Telegraph Story; ‘In 1973, long before Love Island, Edna was the bikini-clad doctor aboard a bizarre televised experiment (nicknamed the Sex Raft) that was meant to get to the bottom of attraction and violence. Read her remarkable recollections in my interview, and watch the Storyville documentary featuring Edna an Acali was a raft, which also gave its name to the Acali Expedition or Acali Experiment. The raft had a complement of eleven people.' It left Las Palmas, Spain on 12 May 1973 and took 101 days to drift across the Atlantic Ocean and reach Cozumel, Mexico, with a single stopover in Barbados.
