Water is a human right; In the midst of a bitter drought, David, age 2, tries to stay hydrated shortly after arriving at a refugee reception centre in Bundibugyo. He faced brutal scorching weather for several days while fleeing conflict in Eastern DRC, amid covid-19 pandemic, the conflict has had devastating impact on the country’s children, this conflict has created one of the worst world’s wave of displacement. Children are the most vulnerable in refugee camps; they have been taken away from their friends and families and have been forced to start new lives in strange environments. We need to unite to break the vicious cycle of conflict and save humanity.
