This series is a series of short stories made in larger reports for RTVE (Spanish radio and television) during my trip to Ukraine in which we traveled around the country for more than 4 weeks.

Stories that tell us the reality of war. The ones that each of these people has been suffering since 24 February  2022 when Russia decided to invade Ukraine. A war that has been spreading like a spider's web across the country since that day. From the basements where they spend the nights hidden for fear of bombs, to the military training camps for civilians, and even to a morgue where a young girl searches for her father among the remains of corpses that pile up in a room as a result of the bombings.

This photographic series tells different stories from all over the country of how war is knocking on every door of the Ukrainian population. From the rusty smell of death to the metal of the train tracks, in this short selection of photographs, we can see the story of those who stayed behind and those who sought a chance away from the sound of bombs.
