Cancelled & Removed explores the stories of those affected by forced migration from Australia. The project was sparked by the artist’s own family experiences and is presented through a multilayered narrative, using delicate visual language in combination with a variety of texts including contributions from individuals who have been directly affected by Australia’s detention and deportation legislation, as well as essays from Law’s siblings, writers Benjamin Law and Michelle Law.
