Durga puja also knows as Durgotsava. Its is a hindu festival that celebrates worship of the Hindu goddess Durga. It is very famously celebrated in Indian state of west Bengal, however it is celebrated all over the Indian by Bengali Hindu society. The preparation starts before 2 months starting from initial stage of making the idol of Goddess Durga. The last stage is immersing of the Durga idol into river. The Durga idol after being completed is placed on the  ‘Pandal’ for worship.  The most emotional part for the worshippers is the when ‘Visarjan’ takes place  i.e  immersing of Durga idol into water. The feeling is like when a closed one leaves us for a long journey  , where the journey is never ending.
