“Lockdown” is a small series that focuses on my rearview window to the old town of Porto during the Convid-19 quarantine. Inspired on the 1899 – 1901 Monet’s series “Houses of Parliament”, where the artist used the same viewpoint, and painted the building during different times of the day and weather conditions. This series follows the same concept but uses the changes of light and weather not only to show the passage of time but to also portrait the moods and states of mind that I’ve been through during the time indoors.
