Laura De Marco is a photographer, photography educator and curator working between Italy and New York City.
She is one of the two founders and directors of the center of photography Spazio Labo’, a non-profit organization devoted to photography established in 2010 in Bologna, Italy. The center consists in a gallery, a school, a library and a place for events such as book presentations, talks, portfolio reviews.  For Spazio Labo' she teaches, curates the gallery and organizes workshops and events. In 2011 she started the editorial project Edizioni Labo', self publishing photo books and catalogues. Â
She has showed her work in group and personal shows between 2008 and 2013 and have been invited to participate in artist residencies.Â
She collaborates, as portfolio reviewers and juror, with international festivals and she is one of the editors of the independent photography magazine Dog Food.
