No area in Belgium has undergone an as continuous regeneration process as the North Sea coast. The country’s 67-kilometre-long coastline is a story of building, demolishing and rebuilding in a quest of conquering nature’s forces and addressing the increasing demand created by tourism.
Temporary Views is a multi-layered project exploring the constants and variables of this distinct place. It also examines how humans and nature influence each other on what is now one of Europe’s most unique – and vulnerable coastlines.
