Summary
After three days of intense seismic activity in Reykjanes peninsula, a new volcano has erupted in the Meradalir valley. The new volcano, located near the now dormant crater of last year's eruption (Fagradasfjall volcano) has been named Meradafjall, after the name of the valley that it appeared.
On August 3rd, 2022 a new volcano erupted in the Reykjanes peninsula near the previous crater at Fagradasfjall. These images were taken at the first night of the eruption. I am available for assignment to cover further this event.
