Samalayuca Sands
Samalayuca is located roughly 15 miles south of the border city Ciudad Juárez [CJ], located in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Unfortunately, because of the ongoing drug war raging in CJ and in Chihuahua (the state's capital) much of the state has been subjected to negative press. I therefore felt compelled to try and capture - as best I could, with my limited experience - a side of Chihuahua often neglected in the major news journals outside of Mexico.
And that brings me full circle to Samalayuca, the smallest of towns with a vast land showcasing exquisite sand dunes.
