Indonesian photographer Buce Buwantoro has been capturing images of Asia since 1998. His work can be seen in magazines, documentaries. Buce has in the past focused on the interaction between indigenous peoples and their environment, and as a result has traveled extensively across the Indonesian archipelago and further afield across USA, Europe & Asia including photographing for Iceland Tourism Board, both remote tribal people and modern urban life.
From 1998 to 2002,Buce worked as a photographer/writer for COLORS Magazine, since 2002, Buce has free-lanced for many regional and international magazines (National Geographic Indonesia, National Geographic Travel).
He has publicized himself in the Advertising world as well – among others International Or Regional Clients and enormous multi national companies.
Buce has been based in Jakarta for more than three decades, now located in Slovakia.
