Imagine that a discussion with an aggrieved customer attempting to return a product is going poorly, but you have exhausted all means of Approved Dialogue. If you feel your blood pressure rising, reach out to a fellow Team Member for assistance and politely excuse yourself. This would be an ideal time for an Aural Surrounding, which can be found in the Approved Team Member Parking facility. Here you will find sounds of nature,* available for your use. You might find Canada Geese honking in the autumnal Mid-Atlantic, cracking winter ice in the Midwest, spring owls in the Pacific Northwest, or summer crickets in the Northeast (see example below). Allow these sounds to wash away the feelings of intense rage. *Dependant on your region and season. |
