Zoeann Murphy is a video journalist at The Washington Post She’s reported largely on humanitarian and environmental crises around the world while also covering breaking news domestically. She's worked in over 20 countries. In recent years she’s covered the global rise of border walls, protests at Standing Rock, forced migration, climate change, and natural disasters. In addition to her work as a visual journalist, she also teaches photography workshops that give communities the tools and opportunities to share their own stories in their own pictures that they take. Zoeann Murphy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from SUNY Purchase School of Art + Design and a Masters in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design.
