The Maasai Tribe
The Maasai are transhumance pastoralists, meaning that they move around with their herds to let the land regenerate and find fresh water. Cattles are an important source of food, since the milk and blood sustain life, but they are only killed occasionally for their meat. The Maasai's land in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania is unsuitable for agriculture, although it is suitable for pastoralism.
