El Prat airport is the first epicenter of protests against the sentence. Some 8,000 people gathered at the accesses to that infrastructure following the instructions of the Democratic Tsunami, which called for it to be paralyzed in response to the Supreme Court´s ruling. At the airport, more than a hundred flights were canceled due to the difficulties the crew had in arriving.
