Vidhyaa is an Indian Editorial and documentary freelance photographer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, her work mainly focuses on an issue relating to women & girls and UAE culture, subjects’ experiences are integral to her approach to portraiture as she focuses on their relationships with people within and outside their community, environment and captures the emotion they transmit and their surroundings.
Currently working on photography projects for "UAE : Women breaking stereotypes with Falconry" (Ongoing).
Her work has been exhibited and published in Vogue Arabia, Wired Arabia, The National, UN Women UAE, National Geography Arabia, Capture your Freedom -United Photo Industries, FDR Park at New York, and Gallery RIVAA. She has a Diploma in Documentary Photography Project from Danish Media and Journalism in collaboration with World Press Photo and mentored by Noor Images at Amsterdam and teaches photography for children incorporation of Photography Studio, Manarat Saadiyat, which is part of Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism.
