Announcement of a book publication and an exhibition in South Korea
Thursday, April 20, 2017
I'm excited to announce that a documentary photo book which I contributed to just got published. The book "Where Were You on That Day", which is produced by ten prominent South Korean photojournalists and one Japanese historian based in Seoul, chronicles the impeached and ousted president Park Geun-hye's regime from the moment of impeachment to the moment of winning an election. I guarantee you that this book is a great reference about the political and social landscape of South Korea. Social injustice, human rights, labor rights, violence of government authority, Sewol Ferry disaster... it's full package. Along with the publication, the photo exhibition from the book is on going in the heart of Seoul. Please come by 류가헌 Ryu Ga Heon located quite close to 청와대 The Blue House, the South Korean President's residence which is empty now, obviously, to appreciate simple yet strong array of images. For last but not least, I'm so humbled and honored to work with great colleagues in a historical period of time. Kudos to all of them.
