Susann Tischendorf is a documentary photographer and visual storyteller from Germany. She studied audiovisual communications at the University of Arts in Berlin, Germany, and Sorbonne University in Paris, France. She was trained in documentary film at Arte TV in Strasbourg, France. Her dedication to human rights led her to also pursue studies in international relations and law at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., USA. She conducted in-depth research in Nigeria and India. Since then, Susann has worked for multilateral organizations documenting international development projects. Susann is passionate about using multi-platform storytelling to shed a light on the lives of marginalized people. Recently, she joined the United Nations and continues to develop her photography portfolio. Her images have been exhibited by the International Photographic Society, the World Bank Group, and the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University, USA.
