Every night of St. Joseph, more than 770 FALLES (constructions made in wood, plaster and other materials, with a cost each of 10.000 to 200.000 euros and paid by every association of neighbours called FALLEROS) burn because of an old tradition in the city of Valencia, Spain. One year of preparations and hard work ends in an orgy of fire and noise all around the city. On that night the FALLES days end, the city finally rests and regains its everyday pace.
