Presentation at SPE National Conference

Tuesday, March 21, 2017 | News

I just got back from Orlando, FL where I gave a talk with my colleague and mentor John Willis about the work we do with the Exposures Cross-cultural Youth Arts Program.
The talk outlined the program, which consists of online collaborations and a 3-week summer intensive, all using photography, writing, and other artforms as a starting point to create dialogue about self exploration and diversity. We were able to show work that the participants have made during the program, images of the participants living, interacting, and experiencing, and our personal experiences and stories as educators.

It was a great experience and a wonderful opportunity to share with other photographers and educators what we do.
