In such polluted and overpopulated city as Istanbul, Turkish picnicking culture shows human desire to unite with nature into extremes. During weekends or late summer afternoons people are occupying almost every green space in the city to relax and share food with their relatives. It is in human nature to perceive surrounding landscape in selective manner. Suddenly meal few meters from highway in the greenish, but contaminated area seems to have same value as picnic in forest.
