Biography


Adolfo Pumarejo is a 19 year old mexican-american photographer currently living in Tampico, Mexico. He has been working in several proyects since 2013 when he first began street photography. 


As of 2016, he has been working on the proyect "Tampico: Lugar De Perros De Agua" or "Tampico: Place Of Otters". 


He is currently studying touristic management in the University of Anáhuac in Tampico, México. 

His major influences thus far have been William Klein, photojournalist Michele Sibiloni, Mexican photographer Yvonne Venegas, and local Brownsville photographer Conrado Gonzales. 

He has had the following accomplishments: 

2015: Photograph exhibited as part of The Fifth Annual Exposure Award digital event at the Louvre in Paris, France. 

2015: Photograph exhibited in Paris published in the book "The Architecture Collection" as part of The Fifth Annual Exposure Award.

2015: Photograph exhibited in Medellin, Colombia's city hall as part of "Los Trabajos Y Los Dias" photography competition.

2016: 16 photographs exhibited in local Brownsville, Texas venue B.A.M. for the photography gallery "Destino: Cultura"

2016: 3 day photography workshop taken with Mexican photographer Yvonne Venegas.

2016: Photograph published in the University Of Texas at the Rio Grande Valley's Gallery Magazine.
