Paccarik Orue

Paccarik Orue was born and raised in Lima, Peru and currently resides in San Francisco. As a photographer, he is interested in creating work that stirs emotion about his subjects and that leave the viewer with more questions than answers. Â He earned his BFA in photography from the Academy of Art University in 2011.Â

Paccarik's work has been featured in Conscientious, Feature Shoot, Hey Hot Shot Blog, Aint-Bad Magazine and Visura Magazine Spotlight. His work has been honored by En Foco and American Photographic Artists. Paccarik has exhibeted work at SF Camerawork, Carte Blanche Gallery and Book & Job Gallery. His first monograph, There Is Nothing Beautiful Around Here, was published by Owl & Tiger Books in 2013.
