Based in Dakar (Senegal), I have settled for some years in eclectic cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and London. After my degree in Media and Journalism I completed my education at the London College of Communication with a Masters in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in 2009.
Currently dedicated to both work in personal projects and photography commissions for international media and NGO's focused on gender, education, culture and sustainable development.
With a big interest in photography as a tool for social change and human rights advocacy, in gender equality and in educational programmes that use photography to drive positive change. Very engaged with vulnerable groups (children, women, teenagers) in the production and coordination of participatory photography workshops, large experience with NGOS’s and the sustainable development sector in media and communication.
My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Morocco, Kenya, UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, France, Belgium, Argentina and Brazil. Some of my photographs have been featured in BBC, Der Spiegel, El País, Akzente Magazine, Colors Magazine, Revista Luzes, Diario ABC and La Voz de Galicia, among others.
