Staged in very colourful scenes, PLAYTIME is a series of self-portraits with my new best friend Yvette, 82 years old, inspired by my passion for costumes as well as my love for old people who decided to stay young.

Captured in Florida over the course of the production of my documentary about Snowbirds (a documentary that reaches out to golden age Canadians living in Florida during the winter season, seeking a leisure society that can entertain them), this series represent the birth of a real friendship, even though there is almost 50 years between us. Yvette gave me access in to her funny activities and I brought her in my colourful world to create images with a humorous flavor and a childhood spirit. Playtime.
