"Growing up Reed in Reedsville:  Children of Middle America" is about coming of age in a town with roughly 300 residents, made of hunters and passionate Christians. The Reeds live in Reedsville, OH, bordering WV.  After the election of Trump and his campaign, new attention was brought to issues affecting his base.  They experience issues like drug epidemics, poverty, scarce employment opportunities, grandparents raising children, and the feeling of political underrepresentation.  The children of Reedsville stay occupied with nature, constantly surrounded by close family as they come of age in a forgotten town with a bleak future.
