LABOR DAY WEEKEND September 4th though 8th LAST CALL!
PHOTOGRAPH THOSE FUN LOVING WACKY REPUBLICANS! (And a few Dems too.) If you've ever wanted to shoot a presidential campaign, here's your chance. Come to New Hampshire over labor day weekend and join the circus. We will spend 4 days photographing campaign events of various candidates, from the ridiculous(the Donald?) to the sublime(Bernie?). At this point of a campaign, access is fairly easy, you can photograph most events without a press credential, especially the lower tier candidates whose events tend to be more fun anyway. We will all try to reside in the same place and choose assignments each morning for the day. New Hampshire will be crawling with candidates that weekend so there will be plenty of events to shoot. Each student will be free to photograph whatever they want. We will edit a little bit each day, but our main editing session will be Tuesday the 8th.
I cut my teeth shooting presidential politics. That early work led to my first book, My Fellow Americans. Each workshop participant will get an autographed copy, sort of a party favor. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
