On The Road w/ Assignments...

This week Jason Houston starts a 40 day stretch of which 36 will be spent on the road on assignment. First he's exploring the cultural depth and economic importance of fisheries on the East Coast; then it's back to Peru to look at biodiversity from the Andes to the Amazon. After that, in August and September, starts fire season during which he expect at least several two week periods where he'll be embedded and on the fire line with a wildland fire fighting crew from Boulder, CO (USA).
