«Ni Pour Ni Contre» This narrative in movement designed
as a visual choregraphy fuses « real » and imagined
moments, creates a game between the here and the there,
the other and the self. Many-faceted fictional characters
express and question issues that are essential to me. I
gathered these issues under the name “Ni Pour Ni Contre”,
an ambivalent, unclear, franco-chilean, masculine-feminine
space which promotes a complex, ever-changing identity.
Looking for graphic expressions of an immaterial identity, I
chose to turn to dance and fashion, two universes where the
physical body is constantly the basis of an intimate work
questioning the entire being.
Thus I seek to represent (myself), but also to reveal the
reality of these mediations: through subjectivity and
conscience, through photographic material, through the
other’s gaze. Hence the name «NI Pour Ni Contre».
