On August 21, 2017, the full solar eclipse passed through the United States drawing thousands of people from all over the world to the path of totality. Scout's Eclipse is a personal project I decided to undertake because I was curious to photograph the way children might experience such a visual and rare natural event. In occasion of the total solar eclipse, the Boy Scouts of America organized three days camp-out with family on the Boxwell Boy Scout Reservation in Lebanon, Tennesse. I spent three days with both the cub and boy scouts photographing them in all moments of their days leading up to the eclipse. I have become very attached to this personal project because I was able to build a relationship with the young boys and get to know them quite well only in the arch of three days.
