It is ironic that Liberians found liberty in the United States of America, a country that colonized them more then a century ago. Liberia was established as segregated system by the American Colonization Society, wich did not acknoledged the 16 native trribal groups that inhabited the region before the arrival of free slaves from America. This caused many of the problems that destabilized the nation.
