About
Ghadah Alrawi is an American documentary photographer currently living in Surabaya, Indonesia. Her photographs of Arab-Americans were exhibited in A Community of Many Worlds: Arab-Americans in New York City at the Museum of the City of New York. She documented the "1 Family Campaign" for UNHCR-Armenia and collaborated with OXFAM in Armenia documenting lives of displaced Syrian-Armenians, published by the Armenian Redwood Project in 2015. In June 2016, UNHCR exhibited her photographs of refugees at the UN House in Yerevan and published them in the book Crossroads: Stories of Refugees. She was a contributing photographer to the Eyes on Main Street: Wilson Outdoor Photo Festival in 2015 and 2016. 

She is currently working on a long-term personal project Home, Leave about life in the U.S. Foreign Service. Ghadah has worked and lived in New York City, Kosovo, Jordan, Ukraine, Belgium, Australia, and Armenia. She is available for commissioned work and assignments in Southeast Asia.
