APRIL 21- KATHMANDU- A man, who wished to remain nameless, sifts through ashes between cremations in search of coins and gold teeth at Pashupati temple.
MAY 21, 2015- KUNDE, NEPAL- Nurup lost his house in Pheriche and his family home in Kunde, leaving him homeless. He uses his only tarp to protect his belongings.
MAY 20, 2015- KUNDE, NEPAL- Lhakpa gives a weary look as he works to rebuild his home for the fourth time. His home has been demolished by strong winds, earthquakes, and rock falls, but he continues to rebuild as the tea house is his only source of income.
MAY 19, 2015- KUNDE, NEPAL- Lhakputi lost her husband to stomach cancer, her son to an avalanche on Everest, and her house to the earthquake on april 25th. She said she's considered suicide, but nobody would take care of her yak.
May 9, 2015- THAME, NEPAL- The head Lama from Thame Gompa performs a funeral puja for Phuri Sherpa, who died after two weeks in a coma after the earthquake in Nepal on April 25.
MAY 1, 2015- KATHMANDU- Rajan Giri traveled for over a day looking for a hospital able to treat his injuries after a staircase fell on him during the earthquake on April 25.
MAY 10, 2015- THAME, NEPAL- Monks from the Kopan Monastery fill bags with Daal to prepare for donations to the locals in Thame and the surrounding villages.
MAY 13, 2015- NAMCHE, NEPAL- A group of women chat over tea in one of the many tents set up above the town of Namche in Khumbu region, Nepal, near Everest. The aftershock on May 12, nearly as strong as the original earthquake, had the entire town fearful of building collapses and further aftershocks.
