Biography
Romina Hendlin was born in 1985 in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2006 she began to study photography at the Roberto Mata Photography Workshops while still a student of Mass Media at the Catholic University Andres Bello in Caracas. In 2010, she attended the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism program at the International Center of Photography in New York. She received the Sam Sahid Scholarship for her project Dominican Family and was accepted to the Foundry Photojournalism Workshops with the Ricoh Scholarship for her project Growing Together.
Romina likes to produce long term projects. Her first one was TO LIVE (5 years) which was published in TIME Lightbox and she had a solo exhibition in Caracas.
