Krakow Photomonth is a leading European photography festival and one of Poland’s largest cyclical events devoted to the visual arts. The theme of the 13th edition is conflict.

The programme will include exhibitions of great of world photography, Josef Koudelka and Sophie Ristelhueber, as well as artistic documentary exhibitions (such as Zhang Dali’s series on censorship of photography in Maoist China).

Another important element of the festival programme will be the latest edition of the Portfolio Review, accompanied by the Griffin Art Space prize. Also part of the programme are dozens of accompanying events:

meetings, projections, workshops and actions. Everything takes place in Krakow, from 14 May to 14 June 2015.

Maciej Moskwa (Testigo Documentary) has won The main prize in 11th edition of Polish contest Grand Press Photo 2015 for his portrait of teenage Syrian refugee, who escaped from Kobani before the attack by the Islamic State
