Thursday, July 7, 2016
Join us in supporting the drought-stricken communities of the Sertão. It means the world to us to give back to these families who allowed us into their lives.
Buy a print from our Hinterland project and proceeds go to local NGOs whose programs empower families living with the worst drought in 50 years. www.brazilhinterland.com
Lianne Milton's project, Hinterland, was the inaugural recipient of the 2015 Fondation Yves Rocher - Institut de France Photography Award. It is currently on exhibition at Festival Photo La Gacilly in France. Together with her partner, Fábio Erdos, our photographic and film project focuses on marginalized rural communities in Brazil’s northeast region who depend on natural resources for their survival to coexist with the barren landscape.
