Né le 3 octobre 1956

Journaliste, passionné de photographie, il a collaboré aux magazines Photo-Reporter, Le Photographe, Photo-Revue et Photo Magazine.

Dans les mêmes temps, il fait des reportages pour l'agence Sipa Press.

En 1988, il devient agent de Dominique Issermann. En 1989, aux côtés de Yann Arthus-Bertrand, il réalise "3 jours en France", une opération qui peint le portrait de la France en 1989, 150 ans après l'invention de la photographie.

Depuis septembre 1989, il organise le Festival International de Photojournalisme "Visa pour l'Image - Perpignan".

De 1997 à 2009, il s'associe au groupe Hachette Filipacchi à travers la société Images-Evidence qu’il rachète en juillet 2009 et dont il est président.

As a journalist and passionate enthusiast of photography, he worked for Photo-Reporter, Le Photographe, Photo-Revue and Photo Magazine.

At the same time, he made reportages for the agency Sipa-Press. In 1988, he became Dominique Issermann’s agent. In collaboration with Yann Arthus-Bertrand, he realized “ 3 days in France ” in 1989, a project creating a portrait of France in 1989, 150 years after the invention of photography.

Since September 1989, he has been running Visa pour l’image, the international photojournalism festival. From 1997 to 2009, he partnered with Hachette-Filipacchi through the company Images Evidence, that he bought in July 2009 and of which he is now the CEO of Images Evidence.
