Aurore Belot

Aurore Belot is a Belgian photographer born in Brussels in 1977.
She felt into photography by means of her passionated dad, who taught her the basic skills with an old analog Canon Ftb.
She lived 4 years in Spain studying French Philology, then went back to Brussels where she learnt Interior Decoration at Institut des Arts et Métiers, and finally a first year of Photography at INRACI technical school in Brussels.
After a few years working common jobs, she realized that what she wanted the most was telling stories to people, putting her own sensitivity at the service of those stories.
Therefor she came back to her first love for good and started working as a freelance photographer.
She made an internship at a Belgian newspaper and now collaborates with several agencies in Italy, England and Belgium.
Her work focuses on traditions, social issues and women struggles all around the world.
